Understeer

understeer

The handling condition during cornering in which the circular path of the car’s motion is of a greater diameter than the circle indicated by the direction the car’s wheels are pointed is termed as Understeer. In other words, understeering happens when the front of the car does not  have as much grip as the driver requires, and the car tends to plogh straight on at a corner.
