Instructions to perform Power Over Drift
- To perform a Power Over Drift, the driver must take his car into a turn at any speed. As the name says, the Power Over Drift is exclusively based on the horsepower of the car and hence it does not need much speed or rotational force to initiate the Power Over Drift.
- Turn the wheels of the car sharply into the turn, and apply the throttle which would be enough for the car wheels to loose traction. The car will start to oversteer due to the cornering force on the car combined with the excessive throttle applied.
- When the driver feels that the rear end of the car kicking out, quickly countersteer the wheels to face straight with the road. As long as the wheels of the car keep moving, the car will pull in the direction of the front wheels. Keep throttling. The car will be in an extremely oversteered condition and the car will spin our or exit out of the road, if the driver press the brakes or letoff the throttle.
- After completing the drift, when the driver wishes to straighten out the car, straighten out the wheels of the car and let off the throttle smoothly as the car kicks in line behind the front tires of the car.
