How to perform Dirt Drop Drift?
- To perform a Dirt Drop Drift, the driver should drive in the car at a low to medium speed into a turn.
- The driver should turn the wheels into the turn and keep throttling, but the car should be driven slightly off the roadway with the side of the car opposite of the turn the driver wish to take. For example if the driver tries to turn left, the right side wheels should drop into the dirt.
- When the rear wheel goes off the road, the low traction surface of the dirt will cause the wheels of the car to break the traction. Keep throttling as the car returns to the roadway and continue the drift.
- When the driver feels that the rear end of the car kicking out, quickly countersteer the wheels to face straight with the road. As long as the wheels of the car keep moving, the car will pull in the direction of the front wheels. Keep throttling. The car will be in an extremely oversteered condition and the car will spin our or exit out of the road, if the driver press the brakes or letoff the throttle.
- After completing the drift, when the driver wishes to straighten out the car, straighten out the wheels of the car and let off the throttle smoothly as the car kicks in line behind the front tires of the car.
